SHOWOFF W/ SOMBER SEASON, MIDWEST VOLTAGE

If you don't know SHOWOFF, you don't know Midwest pop punk.

Back in the late 90s, Chicago spawned a pop punk band that quickly got signed by Madonna to her new label Maverick Records.  MR released a catchy as hell collection of songs just called "Showoff", featuring "Falling Star", and "Spill".

SHOWOFF played the Warehouse so many times they practically became the house band in the early 2000s punk uprising, alongside other Chicago punk bands that played the Warehouse at the time: Fall Out Boy, Plain White Ts, August Premier, and Lucky Boys Confusion.  Showoff was the band that really packed 'em in.

The band has been reborn sort of, and the first SHOWOFF show of this rebirthing process is at the Warehouse!

Performing with SHOWOFF will be a new local pop-punk band called SOMBER SEASON.  These newbies write some catchy songs and are stellar musicians.

Also playing will be some veterans of the local music scene, a 4-piece alt-rock band that’s been kickin' out the jams for a decade, called MIEDWEST VOLTAGE.
