MUSIC MERCH MARKET

MUSIC MERCH MARKET is a 2 day mini fan-fair/merch mall, set up throughout both floors of The Warehouse in La Crosse, where you can casually look over/shop for/buy band merchandise. 15-20 bands all in one location, without the pressure of a concert environment, because there is no concert.

No one rushing you out the door because the show is over, no buying a vinyl record and having to hold onto it the whole show. You'll get to talk with bands instead of their merch guy, and hang out in a chill environment.

The craft soda bar will be open, vintage 70s pinball will be fired up, free pool table will be available, and VPX Clothing (the clothing store the Warehouse used to have inside a decade ago) will have vintage 90s alt clothes available as well.

Runs 2 days only: noon-7pm on Sat Jan 21, and noon-6pm on Sun Jan 22.

Bands avoid touring the Midwest in Jan/Feb because of the challenging temperatures. For this event they can hop in a car instead of van and trailer, load it up with their merch, and make some money during down time while also engaging new/current fans.

For everyone shopping and hanging out, it is totally free admission (just don't carry in any beverages), so it should be a fun atmosphere to hang out and deal with some of that midwinter cabin fever.
(had someone ask and the answer is Nope, we are not charging bands or taking a commission. This is a give back to the bands who might not have the opportunity to make money in January.)
